The Process
Step 1 - Phone Consultation
We begin with a complimentary phone consultation to answer your questions and discuss your concerns. We will also determine the appropriate next steps for your child. When an evaluation is recommended, we will schedule your first appointment. If your child has already been evaluated through another entity (school or another center), it will be determined if further testing is needed.
Step 2 - Evaluation
You and your child will meet with a certified speech-language pathologist for the evaluation. Evaluations include observations, standardized testing, parent interviews, and therapist-child interaction. At the end of the session, we will discuss the results and recommendations.
Step 3 - Treatment
When therapy is recommended, we will collaborate to determine a treatment plan and speech therapy schedule that works best for your family. Therapy can be provided virtually, in your home, or at a community location, wherever is most comfortable and convenient for your family. The frequency of therapy will be based on your needs and your child's goals.
